Shiv Dayal Maharaj founded the Radha Soami sect in the year 1861. The Dayal Bagh garden is home to the Radhasoami memorial, a huge marble structure. Its perfect proportions are exquisite. The structure is an interesting combination of a temple, vihara, gurudwara, and mosque. It is interesting to note that the Radhasoami memorial, in Dayal Bagh garden, has been under construction for the past 100 years.
